The design of Bananain’s Hangzhou concept store draws from geometric elements in a coordinate system. Verticality expresses gravity directly, while bending offers a poetic interpretation. The project was completed and put into use in 2022.

A curved form floats in space, where structure bends into softness. Marble flows, grids shimmer, and boundaries blur. Visitors drift without direction, gently lost in the rhythm of Hangzhou.

Modular Product Zones & Adaptive Display
The central floor plan features rotatable product display units, allowing for Adaptive Merchandising Layouts depending on seasonal campaigns, inventory, or curated collections. These units support both high-density shelving and open-space scenarios for events or pop-ups.
Strategic Circulation & Sensory Anchors
The customer journey is gently choreographed via a looped pathway that leads visitors from entrance to checkout without imposing linear flow. Strategic anchors like the installation area and rest area offer pause points for immersive engagement and social sharing.
Omnichannel Touchpoints & Back-of-House Efficiency
Electronic screen walls serve as hybrid platforms for digital storytelling and live inventory, blending physical and online channels. The fitting room and storage room are placed at circulation edges to ensure operational efficiency without interrupting user flow.
Material Language & Emotional Brand Positioning
The curved elements and translucent materials suggest softness and adaptability—subtly mirroring Bananain’s emphasis on comfort and innovation in intimate apparel.
